Hello dear readers! God, has it really been like 3 weeks since I’ve posted? Thank you all for your kind emails! I have no excuse for the delay.. really no excuse.. except one, which is that the internet in this country never works. As in ever. Oh, also and that I have been busy doing things like drinking.. and hanging out.. and going to the beach (to hang out) and some school work of course.. and a little more hanging out. Yes, yes.. the pace of life here is much slower, and sadly does not entail me wearing fabulous shoes... I give you exhibit A, my recent excavations of a Maya Chultun (which is basically a big hole in the ground that we’re hoping contains a burial):
